Our story
Our Story
The journey of Amazing Grace Wellness for Africa Health and Foundation began with the vision of Father Godfrey O.C.D., a Ugandan priest who experienced firsthand the devastating effects of poverty, hunger, and lack of medical care. As one of eleven children, he witnessed the heartbreaking loss of four of his siblings to preventable diseases and malnutrition. From an early age, he felt a calling to serve his community, enduring long walks to school and working tirelessly to fund his education. His dream was clear: to one day establish a medical center that would provide life-saving care and improve the well-being of families in Uganda. That dream became a reality when Amazing Grace Medical Center opened its doors on February 3, 2018, bringing hope and healing to thousands.
